Rotary’s theme this year is “The magic of transformation” – but this is much more than a theme- it is what we do - we create magic by transforming lives for the better.

This year, Carmel by the Sea Rotary club proudly celebrates 75 years of helping people who are in need within our local community -and beyond.

The Oxford dictionary defines magic as:”.. the power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural sources.”

 I don’t think there is anything mysterious about the magic we create – we simply use the supernatural forces of empathy, problem solving, and action to create our magic.

There are 55 clubs within our vast central coast/mid California Rotary District, and our district awarded our club as the #1 club achieving  the highest impact in transforming lives and giving hope both locally and beyond.
